No manufacturer restrictions by license, only limited by what people have released themselves. Most of the big tables are all represented. Zen Studios and their Pinball FX series have garnered some fans, possibly moreso these days since they currently have the Williams license for Baily/Williams tables, makers of some of the best. But before that, they weren't looked at for serious pinball. Their original tables have different ball physics that tended to be floater and otherwise just extra flashy on the field. They can do things real pinball can't, but that's not what real life pinball players want. With the Williams tables, they added in more accurate physics and able to play just regular ol' pinball. Plus, they have a cabinet mode you can turn on with a free code. Their main downside is just it's taking time for them to get new Williams tables digitized. If you don't mind fake physics, there's some fun and interesting tables in their other selections. Pinball Arcade used to be the gold standard. They had pretty much all the big names: Baily/Williams, Stern, and Gottlieb. ![]() They focused strictly on real life pinball and accurate physics. until Williams pulled the license and they couldn't sell them anymore. Now their selection isn't what it used to be if you're coming in fresh today.
